Ingredients – For 12 Tarts:
– 250g plain flour

Instructions:
1. Add flour, butter, and salt in a bowl – rub together.
2. Once the texture of breadcrumbs, stir in egg and vanilla. Then add 1 tbsp of water (or more if needed) and bring together until the dough forms into one lump.
3. Cover in cling film and chill in the fridge for up to an hour.
4. Heat oven to 180°C fan / 350°F and grease a 12-hole tart tin.
5. Role out chilled dough until 1/2cm thick and cut out 12 circles. Lightly press the dough into the tart tin holes.
6. Add jam into each tart and top with cut strawberries.
7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden.
8. Transfer to a write rack to cool completely.
9. Dust powdered sugar over cooled tarts.
